Quote by arch-god-elleFMA was put together well, you can tell they actually thought about the Anime before making it, yah know.

Ed is a very complex character. He's still a child at heart but, he has to act like an adult. Taking care of his younger brother 24/7.
Al is a minor character in my mind. He's sweet and all, but all he does is calm Ed.
And the story behind Envy and Sloth, also wrath. Thats beyond awesome. Envy and Wrath would technically Ed and Al's other brothers.
Hmmm... I like the english better then the Japanese. Vic does an awesome job. Paku Romi's singing voice is strictly just that.
Mmmm.. The movie ruins the good anime series.
Anyways.
Thats my thought on it.
It should be a 10, but 9 works to.

Thanks for your comment... I agree with you that the movie ruins the series; although it's well put together, there still are some major plot holes such as we never saw in the series. But the series has a few weak points, too... that's why it was a 9. I never found an anime to be rated 10 out of 10 yet... sadly :(

(Side note: your view on the characters and story is quite a complex one... have you considered writing a review also? Or did you write one already? I'll have to check... :)).

~+~Actually... I've written reviews for movies, but never for animes. (I take a Creative Writing Course hahaha~) Yeah, but I might actually write a few reviews for some animes, I've seen, and/or read~+~

I'll agree with you though. I suppose your right about the anime missing some major plot things. But still in all if you read the manga along side watching the anime, you don't miss much.
At least thats what I do for most series.

The Manga is usually where the anime series stems from, so yah know, what I mean, right?

Yeah, it's the same for all good anime series, like Trigun, FMA and so on. I haven't read the FMA manga yet, but I did hear it's pretty different... while on the other hand, I read every single bit of the Trigun Maximum series and I can say that I'm a rabid fan... hehe.

Movie reviews are pretty tough to write, aren't they? This means you shouldn't have too much difficulty writing a review for an anime series, too. Good luck if you ever decide to ;)
